I don't know how to send it. I tagged her publication, The Isolation Journals, so I'm hoping maybe it gets to her that way.

You can send it via that contact sheet, but it also lists contact info for her publicist and such. You could send and asked that it be forwarded?

Leslie, the gossamer thread and peacock feather give this letter a beautiful logic of influence: one person’s work travels farther than she can see, then returns through another person’s courage, practice, and creative life. The movement from a four-decade dance career into journals, publications, a story slam, a creativity club, and a first novel shows inspiration becoming embodied action. I especially appreciate the humility with which you separate witnessing illness from inhabiting it, preserving care without claiming another person’s experience. Thank you for sending the light back with such specificity, gratitude, and grace.

Thanks so much. Every writer or artist is a reflection of the ones who came before. It felt good to pay tribute to one who inspires me so much in so many ways.

She has been such an inspiration to me. When I was first diagnosed with leukemia I drew so much strength from her journey, her words and her spirit. Even taking a solo cross country road trip. I’ve not read her original book as it was too much for me at the time I found her. But I love her most recent book. She is such an inspiration to so many. 🤍🤍🤍

Of course! You have much in common with her. When you feel ready, I know you’ll love Between Two Kingdoms. It takes place after her diagnosis and first isolation. You will definitely relate to the road trip part of it. And I agree. She is a huge inspiration.
